Building an effective global team is no longer just about adjusting to different time zones or learning local business etiquettes. In the era of AI, the true differentiator is the quality of collective, global decisions. Unfortunately, many companies still manage international talent using local intuition instead of global data.
It’s time to change that.
During this exclusive webinar hosted by ETTA.Go Global, we’re moving away from generic cultural cliches. We will explore data-driven insights on what truly makes cross-border collaboration thrive in 2026.
If you’re an HR professional or a leader driving international growth, this session is for you.
What you will gain?
During this one-hour webinar, we will shed light on what has remained hidden until now.
What Really Makes Global Teams Work?
You will understand why productivity does not depend solely on individual talent, but on three invisible forces that can either build or break any team. We will draw on Amy Edmondson’s research on psychological safety and findings from Google’s Project Aristotle, which clearly demonstrate that the quality of team culture, rather than the sum of its members' talents, determines global success.
We will also look at a groundbreaking study from Frontiers in Psychology, which shows that geographical background accounts for only 2–12% of the differences between people. From there, we will discover why cognitive diversity, rather than cultural origin, is the only layer of diversity with a proven impact on global team performance.
Additionally, we will use Daniel Pink’s model to understand how autonomy, mastery, and purpose translate into sustainable motivation across different cultures and time zones.
Our starting point will be the Evidence-Based HR approach - shifting away from intuition and toward data. We will introduce the Growth Zone and Global DISC Tools, which allow you to visualize and measure what often remains invisible within multinational teams. With these cultural and behavioral frameworks, HR stops "guessing" across borders and starts precisely planning interventions that deliver a real boost to international team performance.
The webinar will be hosted by our HR and management expert - Monika Chutnik.
Founder of the training consultancy ETTA. Go Global. First President of SIETAR Poland (Society for Intercultural Education, Training, and Research).
Monika is a licensed consultant for tools that support collaboration in international teams, including Global DISC™, GrowthZone™, and the Intercultural Readiness Check, among others. She works in three languages, serving clients from all over the world.
